Your friends will receive a beautiful e-card with details about how their gift is helping animals.

How do Really Wild Gifts work?

Follow four easy steps to choose your perfect gift(s) for friends and family:

1. Choose the animal you want to help from the list of options.
2. Select from the meaningful, life saving gift choices to honour the ones you care for.
3. Personalize your e-card and enter the recipient's details.
4. Send your gift and feel great about the good deed you have done on behalf of your family and friends!

Where does the money go?

WSPA is a global animal welfare organization that has been working to end cruelty to animals and improve their welfare for the past 25 years. We carry out field work and campaign initiatives to directly alleviate animal suffering across the globe. We promote the passing of legislation to improve protection for animals and provide education and training to improve animal welfare. In short, WSPA reaches out to animals in need and provides solutions to make their lives better.

Every gift you give through the WSPA's Really Wild Gift program is a symbolic contribution which will help the program you have selected as well as our other animal welfare programs around the world. Your donation will be used where it is needed the most as we strive to create a world where animal welfare matters and animal cruelty has ended.

Will I get a tax receipt for my gift?

Yes! As you're supporting a Canadian registered charity, your donation is tax deductible. Tax receipts are automatically generated only for donations of $20 or more to reduce administrative costs. Once you've selected your gift(s) and made a donation, you will receive a tax receipt for your entire donation amount via email. If your donation was under $20, you can still request a tax receipt by email at wspa@wspa.ca or by calling (toll-free) 1-800-363-9772.

How quickly will my recipient get their e-card?

If you choose to send your e-card immediately, your recipient will receive the card via email soon after you order your gift. If you choose a specific date, your e-card will be sent to the recipient's inbox on the specified date. You will receive a notification by email once the e-card you sent has been viewed.

Why are Really Wild Gifts available only online?

Really Wild Gifts is an environmentally friendly concept. Moreover, there are no packaging, mailing, or shipping costs for you! If you wish to give a paper card to your family and friends, you can choose to have a printable PDF version attached to your confirmation email instead of sending an e-card.
